I've fallen so hard
Too fast for anyone to catch me
No one will catch me
I'll just keep falling and falling
An unrequited love
A deepened sadness

Where is this pain coming from?

I walk in the dark
Alone and silenced
A hand over my mouth
And a gun to my back
Being forced to march into my pit of dispair

Nothing to live for

The music repeats in my brain
Same damn song from some awful day
Parental advisory warnings flash in my eyes
The news scares me
The world is against me

No good can come from this
Holding on to a moving vehicle
Sounds better than this
I'm gonna get hit by a car

My chipped nail polish shows laziness
My smile shows nothing
My eyes are like pools of spring water
Clear and hydrating
But only until you can't take it anymore
